Wish I Was Here…

Most people say I want to live in the mountains so I can be away from people… This is not true, I am a people person, but I really do hate traffic. That 405 freeway is killer.

But, like I said, I’m a huge people person. I love interacting, talking, and learning from people. It’s just that the mountains and the countryside are so beautiful, I can’t imagine not being there. Sure it’s cold and a little out of the way, but it’s gorgeous and I need to visit it at the very least…

It’s just so much green, and those purple majestic mountains are just calling my name. There’s a reason it made it’s way into our national anthem 🙂

Saving up so that one day I’ll make it there 🙂 here’s a few of the places I’d absolutely love to have.

Have a great rest of your Tuesday everyone!

Told you… City life just isn’t my style!

“The Most Memorable Days Usually End With the Dirtiest Clothes”

-American Cattlemen

“I’d Much Rather a guy take me fishing, on a four wheeler, or to watch the sunset/the stars in the back of a truck than go out to dinner and a movie”

Why You Should Live in the Country

Sure, city life can be fun, but I feel like Ariel from the Little Mermaid. I want moreeee! (Cue music and beautiful singing voice). I find myself tired of the constant struggle of the traffic and freeways of California, and I love Southern Food, as you might have seen.

I know that city folk and country folk were probably designed with different genetics, but there’s no reason to shut out the countryside completely, if you’re not dead set on living there, it’s a wonderful place to visit.

Still Not Convinced? Here’s a Few Reasons to Practice Your Southern Drawl…

1. You’re One With Nature

Once you get away from the city, you get to realize what made our ancestors fall in love with this place. The beautiful trees, the array of stars that are blocked by the city lights, and what seems to be like perfect weather.

Check out these beautiful properties for sale, sure you and I might both be saving up for a few years, but it’s worth it to get these beautiful estates, should that be your dream.

2. The Food!

Set some fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese in front of me, I’m one happy camper. Add in some biscuits and gravy and some sweet tea, I’m set for life. I love that all their food tends to be homemade, and it is the best.

You feel healthier eating all this homemade food, even if it does have a few more calories 😉 the nature is renewing to your spirit while the food renews your soul. What’s your favorite southern food? Here’s 101 awesome Southern recipes for you to try or experience when you visit the South.

3. You Get to Have Some Real Fun 😉

Sure, smartphones and watching movies are entertaining, but what really gets my heart soaring is the good ol’ country life. I haven’t done half of these activities yet, but they’re all up there. As it’s been said, if you don’t come home with mud on your clothes, your day hasn’t been fun enough…

What are my guilty pleasures? Well thanks for asking, I know you were very interested In my country likes. Here are some of mine: fishing, hiking, shooting, hunting, anything snow-related, cooking, dirt biking, boating, racing, and I love farm life.

Am I the Only One that Wants to Live Here?

What can I say, the city just isn’t in my DNA 🙂

One day I’ll get there, hopefully I can find the ranch of my dreams.
